There are many direct flights out of JFK, LGA, EWR, and BOS predominantly through JetBlue, Cape Air, United, Delta, and American Airlines. We strongly encourage booking sooner rather than later as the flights are limited and prices tend to jump! Also be sure to check the size of your plane when booking. Some connecting planes are small (Cape Air)!

ARRIVING •EITHER• Land directly on Nantucket (ACK). Connect to ACK through airports such as BOS or JFK and land directly on island. •OR• Land in Boston (BOS) and take a car to the ferry. More on the ferry and car services below! **(This is our favorite way to arrive to the island.)**

DEPARTING Flights off of the island in commercial sized aircrafts are easier to come by than flights onto the island.

Hy-Line ferry departs Hyannis, MA to Nantucket multiple times a day and takes 1 hour. We recommend making round trip reservations in advance.

Steamship Authority ferry departs Hyannis, MA to Nantucket. The fast ferry is 1 hour and the traditional (car) ferry is roughly 2 hours. We recommend making round trip reservations in advance.
